The role you’ll contribute:

The Lead Pharmacy Technician, working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, performs delegated duties, tasks and functions associated with the provision of pharmacy services within the hospital.  In addition, the Lead Pharmacy Technician assists in supervising the activities of the pharmacy department’s team of Pharmacy Technicians and assists in the maintenance of the pharmacy’s operations.

·         Accurately leads the appropriate utilization of medication automation, technology, and computer systems

·         Manages ADC inventory and maintains proficiency to trouble shoot cabinet issues

·         Supports medication dispensing activities

·         Maintains appreciation for and competency to perform technician duties and roles as needed

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

 

·         High School Diploma or equivalent

·         Licensed Certified Pharmacy Technician
