If so, the Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECHCS) in Aurora, CO, has an opportunity for you! We are looking for a dynamic and committed physician leader to join our team as Chief of Dermatology. This opportunity has a combination of clinical, administrative, educational, and research roles. Administratively, you will report to the Chief of Medicine and will serve as the primary supervisor of the Dermatology Section. Position Information:
This physician leader will be assigned to our Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center in Aurora, CO. As the Chief of Dermatology, you will oversee the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and conditions of the skin, hair, nails, and mucus membranes. This is a general dermatology practice and has flexibility, depending on candidate’s interests, experience, and track record. We provide comprehensive dermatologic services including general dermatologic surgery, general dermatology, teledermatology, phototherapy, dermatopathology, allergic contact dermatitis, psoriasis, wound/ tissue repair, some laser procedures, and research time (if grant supported). As staff acquire new skill sets, we can expand services offered to include the likes of patch testing, Mohs, etc. You must qualify for an academic appointment at our affiliated university, University of Colorado (CU), Denver.
The ideal candidate must be a highly effective communicator, comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization, and able to successfully partner with facility leadership and other services. They should have a passion for maintaining the highest quality standards and developing a team for growth.

Must have current, active & unencumbered US State Medical License (any State)
Ideal candidate will be Board Certified in Dermatology
Ideal candidate will have 2-3+ years’ leadership experience

Additional Information:
Salary Range: $335,000 to $377,000 and includes biennial longevity pay increases
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40hrs/wk; Provide evening, weekend, and holiday coverage of the dermatology consultation service in rotation with other staff Dermatologists.

Performance Bonus: up to $15,000 or 7.5% (whichever is less) annually
