The Speech-Language Pathologist responsible for evaluation and treatment of speech, language, swallowing and cognitive disorders. Responsible for the direct or indirect provision of individualized care based on the assessed age and developmental needs.
Qualifications:
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
One year as Speech-Language Pathologist.
Preferred: Home Care or Long Term Care experience.
Preferred: Membership in Colorado Speech-Language Hearing Association (CSHA).
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competence for Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Membership in American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
Current Colorado drivers license
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) required, Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required for facilities with an AED
Automated External Defibrillator (AED) preferred for facilities without an AED.
Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
This PRN home health role will cover weekdays and weekends around Colorado Springs area.
