Atlantic Visiting Nurse, part of Atlantic Health System, is seeking a full-time hospice Registered Nurse to work Monday - Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM in the Sussex / Warren County area, including weekends and on-call as required by department. In this position you will work with adult and geriatric patients of all backgrounds who require daily care in their homes. You are compassionate, thoughtful, and comfortable working with elderly and terminally ill patients. You will be responsible for managing a heavy caseload; time management skills are essential. However, it is important to provide each patient with the time and attention necessary to meet his or her needs.
Entry level offers start at $43.00 / hour and increase based upon experience. Mileage reimbursement ($.65 1/2) included.

Essential Job Functions:
Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.

Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Requirements:
Candidate will have the ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
Candidate will have the ability to care for patients with serious illness in their homes
Minimum Education:
Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required
Education:
BSN Preferred
License/Certifications:
Valid New Jersey Nursing License required
Current BLS certification required
Relevant Experience:
2 years of home care or acute care experience strongly preferred
Experience with pain and symptom management preferred
Experience with hospice preferred
