California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) is seeking experienced and skilled CA-licensed Nurse Managers who are ready to be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing quality primary medical care.
In this key role you will:
Plan and evaluate the objectives and effectiveness of statewide programs/initiatives, including the Whole Person Care Program, Substance Use Disorder Treatment, and Hepatitis C and HIV Treatment
Plan, assign, supervise, and evaluate the work of program nursing staff, social services, and administrative support staff
Complete audits, ensuring proper documentation of patient care activities and participate in ongoing quality management/improvement efforts
To thrive in this role, you must possess three years of registered nursing experience within the last five years, one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity, and two years of which must have been in a general acute care hospital. (Possession of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or a Master's Degree in Nursing may be substituted for one year of general acute care hospital experience.)
