At Centura Health, we value incredible people with incredible skills - but your commitment to a greater cause is something we value even more.   Job Description:* As a member of the Transport Crew, assists in meeting the physical and emotional needs of ill and injured patients. * Promotes safe and efficient operation of Flight For Life. Consults with Level II Paramedic in the delivery of patient care and associated functions.* Assists with patient care in the hospital within scope of practice and hospital guidelines, except in activities that would prevent an immediate response for a patient transport.* Operates Flight For Life vehicles including ambulances and the Flight For Life Suburban, in support of ground ambulance operations, relocating vehicles to cover for maintenance, and other program needs.* Ensures decontamination of the vehicles and equipment. Ensures the ambulance is equipped and stocked.* Provides reassurance and comfort to family members. Demonstrates compassion in interactions with families and patients.* Documents patient care activities in a timely manner, maintaining confidentiality.What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:* Current Colorado State Paramedic Certification, and National Registry certification as a Paramedic* HS diploma or GED required* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association Required* ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate) Required* NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), PHTLS (Pre hosp Trauma Life Support) and STABLE within 6 months of hire/transfer* Completion of Emergency Vehicle Operator (EVOC or CVEO) within 6 months of hire/transfer. AND Valid Driver's License and ability to pass the annual driving record review for safe vehicle operations Heavy Work - (Exert up to 100lbs force occasionally, and/or 50lbs frequently, and/or 20lbs constantly)Your Connected Community:When people and places align, incredible things happen.
