At Centura Health, we value incredible people with incredible skills - but your commitment to a greater cause is something we value even more. Job Description:* A front-line leadership position responsible for the day to day oversight of specimen management operations and associates on assigned shift. * Responsible for collection and processing of blood samples and other specimens as defined by site. * Provides a high level of customer service for lab inquiries, test requirements, and other laboratory information. * Consistently functions in a self-directed manner and exhibits excellent communication and complex problem-solving skills. * Serves as a liaison with other laboratory departments and hospital services.What You Bring/Job Requirements:In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:   * One year of phlebotomy work experience required* High School Diploma or GED required* Associates or Bachelors degree preferred* Phlebotomy certification, such as PBT(ASCP) or equivalent certification required within 6 months of hire Physical Requirements:Light work - (Exert up to 20lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 10lbs frequently)Your Connected Community:When people and places align, incredible things happen.
