Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm and as needed.

The role you’ll contribute:

The Post-Exposure Nurse Supervisor is responsible for the personnel and operational management of the Post-Exposure Nurses.  The position supports the Department staff and exposure needs of all clients in ways that will be customer driven and cost effective, always looking for ongoing cycles of improvement. Collaborates with the Clinical Team for ongoing education and development of effective processes and meets regularly with the Post Exposure Nurse Manager and Clinical Excellence team as needed.  This position requires the consistent demonstration of excellence in customer service.

• Accountable to support the Department in the operation & profitability of Business Health Services (BHS) Exposure and PEN Service Lines within the Department.
• Participates in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding/training of new PENs
• Creates and oversees new hire training program and standards
• Orders/provides equipment/supplies needed for PEN’s on-site exposure events
• Creates the PEN schedule
• Fulfills the monthly on-call assignments as designated
• Oversees the arrangements for and documentation of PEN on-site response to Mass Exposures

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• 3 years nursing experience 
• Florida State LPN license
• Florida State Driver’s License
• BLS Certification -Preferred
• Associate Degree -Preferred
• Occupational Health experience -Preferred
