You Will Be Responsible For:   

• Develops and maintains effective relationships

-      Provides compassionate, helpful, and empathetic care.

• Introduces self to patient and family consistently.
• Addresses patient by preferred name.
• Responds to patient requests with an explanation of intended action, and follows through.
• Delivers care in a nonjudgmental manner that is sensitive to patient diversity.
• Verbal and nonverbal communication is congruent.
• Utilizes L.A.S.T. (Listen, Apologize, Solve, Thank) model
• Uses independent judgment to resolve most conflicts related to patient care issues.
