The Epic Cogito Lead will be responsible for providing oversight of the daily operations of the Epic Reporting Team. The Epic Cogito Lead will work with individual contributors to understand workload and work prioritization and provide direction as necessary. In collaboration with Epic leadership, position will be responsible for process and standards development\improvements as well as monitoring and enforcement of established policies\procedures\standards for report development. Position will be accountable for enforcing compliance with established intake\prioritization\governance of reporting development requests. Position will be responsible for oversight and coordination of applicable upgrades\RA\SUs and other activities to ensure the integrity of Epic reporting content and tools. Position will act as the primary point of contact for the Clarity\Caboodle DBAs and ETL admins and other infrastructure resources as necessary. The Cogito Lead will operate as a front-line organizational liaison connecting IT, facilities, and other Centura operational groups to assist with developing and implementing technical solutions to increase the efficacy of the reporting systems. Equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree (Additional 4 years of experience in addition to the minimum requirement)* Epic Cogito Tools and at minimum1 Epic Data Model certification(s) required.* 5 years working with system analysis programming/design including 4 years within Epic Cogito\Reporting platform. * 7 years relevant experience * Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare operations and 3rd-party application\vendor integration Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Epic Cogito Report Suite - Workbench, Radar, SlicerDicer, Cubes, Clarity, Caboodle. * Demonstrated specialized knowledge of, and expertise in relational databases. * Demonstrated advanced proficiency with Report Writing tools such as: Crystal Reports, Business Objects, SQL, SSIS\SSAS. * Demonstrated specialized knowledge and expertise in at least one Epic data model. * Demonstrated understanding of the relevant clinical and/or business operation functions. * Demonstrated proficiency in data gathering techniques. * Demonstrated high proficiency in all skills required to analyze and facilitate complex system enhancements needed for the on-going support of reporting needs. * Demonstrated advanced proficiency in creating detailed report specifications. * Proven ability to effectively liaison between numerous IT and operational parties to address enterprise needs and efficiently move initiatives forward. * Demonstrated ability to shape and influence team consensus, driving group discussions, and presenting to operational leaders. * Proven ability to provide mentorship to team members as well as other IT groups. * Prior success in driving process improvement activities. * Exceptional oral and written communication.
