ChristianaCare is searching for a Compliance Specialist to help to promote a culture of compliance consciousness by serving as a resource for providers and caregivers. Through medical record reviews, analysis, communication, and training activities, they provide information or clarification on documentation standards, guidelines, and regulatory requirements. This experienced compliance auditor will support the ChristianaCare Health System's Compliance Plan, departmental compliance activities, and individual provider efforts to ensure effective documentation.
The ideal candidate will have no less than three (3) years compliance auditing experience with clear, concise, and persuasive writing and presentation skills. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong project management experience with the ability to work effectively with Caregivers at diverse levels.
Qualifications:
Clinical background required
Bachelor's Required; Master's degree/Advanced degree preferred
3-5 years compliance auditing experience required
Project management experience preferred
Must receive Certification in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) within two (2) years
CPC or CCS required
CMPA preferred. Must receive within 1 year
