FACULTY – Internal Medicine Residency Program Scottsdale, Arizona HonorHealth is currently seeking a dynamic faculty physician to teach residents in the ambulatory/outpatient setting and assist with curriculum development for the Internal Medicine Residency program in desirable North Scottsdale, Arizona. Overview The faculty physician for the Internal Medicine Residency Program will provide medical care for patients in the ambulatory setting with their own continuity clinics and precepting HonorHealth Internal Medicine residents. The Internal Medicine Residency was founded in 2016. As a relatively new program, this is a unique opportunity to bring your creative ideas and be a part of the foundation of a new residency that seeks to distinguish the program as an ambulatory practice model. The faculty physician will be an integral part of the on-going curriculum development. Dana Sall, MD, HonorHealth Program Director Internal Medicine Residency welcomes new ideas and individuality. Dr. Sall recently joined HonorHealth from the University of Cincinnati where she has been very instrumental in bringing infrastructure ideas from a large Internal Medicine Residency program and incorporating into a smaller personalized Residency program. All faculty physicians have the opportunity to participate in scholarly activities at the state, regional, and national level. Qualifications - MD or DO
- Strong clinical and teaching skills
- 3-year residency in the practice of Internal Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics
- Current or prior experience in an Internal Medicine Residency Program
- Eligible for Arizona State Medical License
- Board-certified in Internal Medicine, ABIM
- Prefer at least two years clinical experience in either a faculty position or an ambulatory outpatient clinic.
