The Veterans Health Administration is actively recruiting to fill a full time American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (CT and MRI certified). CT/MRI -The VA Loma Linda Healthcare System in Loma Linda CA is seeking a full time Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (CT/MRI) Technologist. This position is located within the Imaging Service, VA Healthcare System. CT/MRI certified technologist must be knowledgeable and experienced in performing a variety of both Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examinations. The CT and MRI position includes all types of routine and specialized exams within the multiple services and patient care areas in the hospital. This individual must be expert in performing both modalities, and be able to prioritize the urgency of their work to maintain optimum patient care in both areas. Experienced in cardiac studies in CT and MRI modalities, CTA, MRA, MRI Breast, and MRI Breast Biopsy. He/she will use wide variety of computerized equipment specific to CT, as well as be proficient with the use of power injector systems, patient monitoring devices, colon insufflators, 3D workstations and the PACS, WEBPACS computer viewing station software.
Work Schedule: Varies/Full Time, will be required to work either an AM/PM/weekends; on call, week nights and holidays.
Must be U. S. Citizen.
Licenses: CT/MRI – current ARRT certification in CT and MRI
Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience.
