Seeking a Hospice and Palliative Medicine fellowship-trained, board certified or board eligible physician to join a growing Palliative Medicine & Supportive Care program in community practice with four other Palliative Medicine physicians.
Fully staffed interdisciplinary team comprising APRNs, SWs, RN care managers, chaplain, pharmacist, clinical secretary, and medical assistant.
Active inpatient service including consult volumes over 1100 per year, integration within medical ICU, dedicated comfort care rooms, and daily interdisciplinary team huddles
Robust outpatient program providing longitudinal, supportive care for pediatric and adult patients of all diagnoses, weekly oncology interdisciplinary rounds at Cotton O’Neil Cancer Center, and involvement in Heart Failure and COPD care pathways
Integrative services including medical acupuncture, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and Reiki therapy
Community outreach, educational, and leadership opportunities available for all team members
Excellent administrative and organizational support
