Providence is calling an Enteral Nutrition Supervisor (Home Infusion Therapy, Day Shift, 1.0FTE) to Providence Infusion and Pharmacy Services in Tukwila, Washington.We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
Position Details: This is a full-time, exempt position. Day shift.
In this position you will:
Act as a resource for staff, providing care for patients with infusion and enteral home care needs.
Provide oversight, supervision and direction to the Dietitians and Enteral Coordinators.
Develop, coordinate and direct all aspects of quality, cost effective, outcome-oriented clinical nutrition care.
Have responsibility for decisions and judgments affecting patients total nutrition care.
Facilitate improvement in patient's nutrition status to reduce complications and lower the risk of harm to the patient.
Requiredqualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
Successful completion of Registration Exam for Dietitians
Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration
Washington State Dietitian Certification required (for new grad or inter-state applicant, must obtain within 180 days)
Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
Current Washington State Driver's license and daily access to an insured, reliable automobile
Two (2) years home infusion and/or nutrition support experience
Preferredqualifications for this position include:
Certified Nutrition Support Clinician certification
Two (2) years supervisory/management experience
Development of nutrition related forms and policies and procedures
Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid guidelines for enteral and parenteral nutrition
