The Home Care Administrator, under the direction of the CEO, provides administrative, technical and clinical supervision of Home Care Services to accomplish the mission and philosophy set forth to achieve quality, safe patient care. The Home Care Administrator functions as the Clinical Supervisor and is responsible for supervising and implementing the policies and operations of the Agency. He/She is also responsible for the provision of all clinical services to Agency clients on a day-to-day basis and, as such, guides staff through the challenges of day to day service.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The Home Care Administrator works with the department leaders to develop policies and practices to improve overall operations. Regularly evaluates Agency services to assure compliance with regulatory standards and quality. Keeps abreast of new practices and trends affecting home care services and hospital operations. Is responsible for and recommends procurement of supplies, equipment and area modifications necessary for practical economical operations. Ensures compliance with current local, state, and Federal Regulations. Prepares annual budgets. Maintains effective, efficient and professional communication and rapport with personnel, physicians, patients and visitors. The Home Care Administrator maintains the delegated responsibility, accountability and authority for the Home Health Agency, Primary Home Care, and Community Based Alternatives Programs.

While if services are not provided at CRH, our PPO facilities are covered at 80% and as well as physicians in the PPO network are covered at 80%. The premium cost for employee only is $31.39, employee and children is $80.31, employee and spouse is $123.70 and family is $172.62 per pay period. Cuero Health also provides a $20,000 group life policy at no cost to the employee.

Our retirement plans is a 401a with Lincoln Financial. Employees who meet eligibility requirements will receive 6.7% contributed into their 401a. Employees can contribute, but it is not required. We also have available to our employees 457 Deferred Compensation and 457 Roth plans. A 529 plan is available as well.

Home Health Services
Services may be provided to clients in their own home, relative's home, foster home or retirement home. To provide the most comprehensive and flexible care to patients, Cuero Home Health maintains two Texas Home and Community Support Services licenses. Licensed & Certified services provides home care to qualifying Medicare and Medicaid clients. Under the Medicare Certified License, skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and home health aide service is provided to clients with Medicare and Medicaid coverage when services are medically necessary, ordered by a physician, and the patient is homebound.
Under a separate license, skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and home health aide services are provided to clients that have insurance or wish to pay privately for skilled services.
Cuero Home Health also offers Philips Lifeline, an easy-to-use personal response and support service that summons help any time of the day or night. A Personal Help Button, worn on a wristband or pendant, links patients to 24 hour security and emergency medical assistance seven days a week. When the button is pressed a trained Personal Response Associate will contact a neighbor, loved one or emergency services based on specific needs and will follow up to confirm that help has arrived.
Primary Home Care and Community Based Alternatives
Cuero Home Health also offers personal assistance services, Primary Home Care (Star Plus Non-Waiver) and Community Based Alternatives (Star Plus Waiver) to eligible Medicaid clients under this same license. Referrals for all services may be made by physicians, nurses, families or clients themselves. Home care staff coordinates care with a physician in order to promote, maintain and restore patient health to its fullest potential.
